He made it to Spain!

 This is Jill, Garrett’s mom. Garrett’s schedule this week was a little different because he flew to Spain yesterday so his P-day was Monday instead of Wednesday and he spent all of Monday packing and getting ready for his next adventure. He never got around to writing an email but we did get to talk to him. I tried recording some of the phone call but there is no sound. On Tuesday morning he headed to the airport. He flew out and had a layover in New York, we got to talk to him while he was there and then he headed to Spain where he called us a 3:00am our time to let us know he made it 👏🏼. Now we are just waiting to see where they send him for his first area. 

In talking to him he seems happy and excited and ready to move on to the next phase of his mission. He’s a little worried about being able to communicate but that should come as he is more immersed in it.
