¡¡vacaciones!! (vacation)
July 17, 2023
there has been some changes and also some cool stuf that has happened so i figures I should preobably write to you guys. 🙃
Well, where do I even begin. Let's start with that we got a new mission Psresident! 😳 He is from Germany and his wife is from the south of spain. they are so excited to be here and have a ton of energy to just get started working hard and they have already made some changes. One of them is that we can now use Tú (you) and Vosotros (you). That may not mean much for a few of you but that is a realy big change. (I think Garrett said those are more informal or casual forms of the word "you")
Another fun thing we did in these past few weeks is that we spent a preperation day in andorra. Andorra is a little small country right in the middle of France and Spain. It was super cool to go there besause the whole country is just mountains. While we were there we drove to this cool little town and we just explored around there in the mountains. It has been a while since i have been in the maountains and it reminded me how much I love it. It is also such a Spiritual expirience as well because we get to see some of the most beutiful creations of God.
Ok the third exciting this that happened is transfers! I got transfered out of my area in Lleida and to a area completely different. Right now I am serving in an island called Ibiza. Some of you might have heard of this Island before and if you do you know that is is know by all of the parties that they have here. So in short we are trieng to spread the word of God in one of the most popular party islands. 😬 So far it hasn't been to crazy but this is only my third day here. Church yesterday was pretty cool though. Here there aren't very many members and it is just a branch rather then a ward but all the members seem super cool.
I have been told a lot that this island is like a trial island for missionary work but we are going to go forward with animo (zest)

I know that I have already mentioned this in one of my other Emails but members are so important in the missionary work. As full time missionaries our main job is to teach people to help them prepare to make covenants with God. To do that we need to find people that want to be taught but the problem is that us as missionaries are severly limited in how we can do this. For missionaries we do a lot of knocking dors and talking people in the street but realy that normaly doesn't work to well. Just imagine yourself walking down the street and then you get stopped by two random kids in a white shirt in tie asking if you want to learn more about Jesus Christ, or come to church, or learn about a book that they have never heard of. That doesn't work very well but is they were invited these things by a friend that they know... Anway I encourage all you members out there to make church and the Gospel an open topc in your home and with your friends and "Declare glad tidings of geat joy"
¡¡HAVE A GOOD WEEK EVERYONE!!
My new comp (Elder Burton)
