Quick Island Update

 August 21, 2023

well, here we are still in the party Island of Ibiza but this time has been really fun. There isn't a ward here it is just a branch and during the summer it has been struggling a little bit. During the summer there is a lot of work so a lot of members and our friends can't come to church becasuse of work, kinda a rip... Also there are not a lot people that are open to God. actaully a lot of the time when people ask us what we do here and find out we are missionaries and talk about Jesus Christ they just laugh, also kinda a rip. Other than that preperation days here are really fun and we have been able to do some really good hikes. But ya, I hope you all are doing really good and just remember how important you are in God's plan for each of you.

Now from Mom: Garrett was transferred to the island of Ibiza about 3 weeks ago. This is a very popular tourist destination and a major party island. I think it would be a beautiful place to visit. In fact, Garrett says the missionary work there is slow but they are able to see some really cool things on their P-days.

Sa Talaia is the highest mountain in Ibiza Island (about 1,558 feet high above sea level)

I tried googling info about this statue but I couldn't find anything. If anybody knows its significance, please let us know.
