So basically I don't remeber that last time that I have daid one of these things but I'll just fill you guys in on what happened in the last couple of months. So basically at the end of April I got transfered from Granollers to Valencia wich was super cool, I've been wanting to go to Valencia for a minute now, I've heard a lot of Good things about Valencia and the work here and it is true. This has definitely been the most active stake that I have seen in the mission so far, they're always doing a lot of cool stuff.

The coolest part so far is that about 4 weeks ago this member brought his sister and her kids to church and then the bishop talked to one of the Kids and hyped him up about going on a temple trip the 29 of this month so basically we started the grind to help him get babtised two weeks before the 29th which was the 15th. We started teaching him, his mom, and his sister (Tamara). The boy (Roger) and the Mom (Ysabel) ended up being super ready for babtism. Ysabel had already wanted to be babtised for a long time now but just couldn't settle on what church and then she moved here to Spain and her brother started putting in the work. Roger is also super awsome and his mom has done a really good Job raising him and he is suoer sweet and knows a lot about the Bible and Jesus Christ. Tamara, the daughter, was a little more apprehensive about babtism but Ysabel's brother put in the work with her too and then she also wanted to get babtised. In the end the brother basically did all the work and taught them everything and we just showed up and taught the lessons and a formality. Because the brother was so clutch we did what normally takes months to do in just 3 weeks but I also have never seen a family so eager for babtism, they were super happy to be babtised and receive the holy gohst and they had an expirience super powerful.
So there babtism hsppened on Saturday and it was kinda a buzzer beater because we had transfers again a couple of days ago and I have already left Valencia so I was just there for one transfer. Basically I was supposed to leave to my new area on friday but our mission president let me stay one more day to be there for the babtism and then I left basically right after, it was all kinda a rush.
Now I am here in a pretty small town in the north of spain called Olot, and I love it here, it is still no where close to what home is like but it is the closest that I've had so far. There's mountains and trees and we have a really cool flat that is basically the apartment version of a cabin I've decided, mainly because of the cabin like smell.
Here in Olot it is just a group with around 10 active members and the area just opened up 3 months ago, we've got a family of two on babtims date right now and we're hoping that this can start up some momentum in the group to eventually become a branch.

Latley with all of this babtism stuff going on I've been studying a lot about covenants and studied two awesome talks from the recent generl conferences. One is called "Accessing God's Power Through Covenants" by Elder Renlund. The way he closed his talk was really powerful and I'll share it down below. Also the talk "Walking in Covenant Relationship with Christ"  By Hermana Freeman is also super good. I love how she talks about covenants are all about having a strong relationship with God and Jesus Christ. I'll put a part that I liked from that talk down below as well.

As you walk the covenant path, from baptism to the temple and throughout life, I promise you power to go against the natural worldly flow—power to learn, power to repent and be sanctified, and power to find hope, comfort, and even joy as you face life’s challenges. I promise you and your family protection against the influence of the adversary, especially when you make the temple a major focus in your life. As you come to Christ and are connected to Him and our Heavenly Father by covenant, something seemingly unnatural happens. You are transformed and become perfected in Jesus Christ. You become a covenant child of God and an inheritor in His kingdom. I can imagine Him saying to you, “Thou art my dear child in whom I delight. Welcome home.” In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Why should I walk a covenant path? Do I need to enter a house for making covenants? Why do I wear the holy garment? Should I invest in a covenant relationship with the Lord? The answer to these good and important questions is simple: it depends on what degree of relationship you want to experience with Jesus Christ. Each of us will have to discover our own response to those deeply personal questions.
